On June 1, 2016, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) published its proposal to reissue existing nationwide permits (NWPs), general conditions, and definitions, with some modifications, in the Federal Register. The proposal introduced two new NWPs and one new general condition that would apply to all NWPs.

On June 2, 2016, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sent a proposed rule to the Executive Office of Management and Budget that would raise greenhouse gas and fuel efficiency standards for large and heavy-duty vehicles. The proposed standards were first released last June and are now in their final stage of review before White House approval. The proposed standards will run through 2027 if approved.

R. Scott Morgan has been awarded Attorney of the Year in Pulaski County for his commitment and service to VOCALS (Volunteer Organization for Center for Arkansas Legal Services).
