President Obama Signs GMO Labeling Compromise Into Law

        On Friday, President Obama signed the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard into federal law (S.764).  While the new law requires food manufacturers to comply with national standards regarding GMO ingredient disclosure and labeling, the law provides a variety of methods manufacturers can utilize to disclose GMO ingredients used including text, symbols or digital links.
